My Kitchen Remodel

Hope everyone is having a wonderful week so far!

I'm so excited to finally be sharing my kitchen remodel with you! It was quite a journey and I could not be happier with the result. Kept reading below for some of my sources, to see before//afters plus some slightly scary process photos!

I tried to keep things simple with this remodel. I design so many spaces that when it came to my own I approached it with the "less is more" mentality. I was also on a budget so had to design thoughtfully.

////////// a few fun design tips and tricks from yours truly ///////////////////

+ I used birch ply cut to look like wood planks and painted for inexpensive flooring!

+ I kept my counters simple and lovely with Caesarstone Pure White and eliminated the need for tile by running the counter up as a backsplash.

+ I continued the same white throughout the house, Benjamin Moore Frostine.

+ My faucet is a Dornbracht Cyprum. It was my big splurge and I'm so happy with it.

+ My cabinets are by the talented Travis Norman who always goes along with my crazy ideas. I kept them all maple ply for cost and I love the look.

+ For the cabinet hardware I used Super Front Holy Wafers.

+ My accessory rack above my stove was an easy DIY, similar to my DIY bathroom accessory holder for Kin Community, it comes in so handy!

+ The question everyone is asking : my copper dishwasher. It's actually just a panel front dishwasher with a wood panel front to match the cabinets that I had Travis glue a piece of copper onto!!! Easy and affordable!

+ AND check out my house tour and interview with (ah!!) Domino Magazine. Photos by the talented Molly Winters.
